US President Obama to visit Canada Feb 19, what should he know about Canada?

What do you think the key issues are for Canada-U.S. relations?

Better yet, what do you think President Obama should know about Canada before his visit? He will be arriving February 19, 2009.

Isuess:
1. Automobile Industry, people are jobs in this area of work. The Ontario Provincial government thinks that Canada nationally will lose 582,000 jobs.
2. Canadians are fighting and dying in Afghanistan. Canadian have 2,500 soldiers in southern Afghanistan, and 108 Canadian troops have died since 2002.
3. Environmental Issues. Greenhouse gase emissions have a big impact on both countries.

President Obama should know that, with Prime Minister Harper should work togheter on helping with the environment. We need to fix it, before its to late to do anything.

Obama should know that Canada is a good country and we want to have a strong friendship with the United States. I think that issues that they will discuss we be related to the rescession and trade withing our countries.
